They look identical but yea you could be right. The g3c has an open hole for a peep check, the g2c has a loaded indicator shark fin. They're both very different. Last week Kygunco had G2C's for $208.00 nib. Very tempted to order another one as a back up. Taurus G2C is a solid pistol at an actually amazing price for what you get. I carry mine in a Concealment Express IWB tuck holster with the claw. I can conceal the pistol with a 17 round mag at 3-4 o'clock with ease.I own 3 Taurus's (amongst others), a G3C, 605 Defender and a Raging Bull, and they all shoot just fine. One of the revolvers had a forcing cone issue that necessitated sending it back for repairs, it shot perfectly when I got it back.
